The Olympics

I think the 'Modern' Pentathlon would be more interesting to more people if it had a re-creationist slant. They could run and ride in 18th or 19th century uniforms, with perhaps light armor and helms. They could fence with blunted cavalry sabers, maybe even on horseback. The shooting could be done with matchlock pistols, the swimming in their riding outfits. Maybe add wrestling and musketry to the mix. That would be something worth watching.
